She also acknowledged the challenges of living with health conditions whose effects may not always be visible to others.
Nikita also expressed hope that other women dealing with PCOS and endometriosis would receive the support and understanding they need.
According to reports, Polycystic ovary syndrome, commonly known as PCOS, is a hormonal condition that affects the way the ovaries work.
Women with PCOS may have higher-than-usual levels of certain hormones, which can affect ovulation and lead to irregular or missed periods.
The condition can also be associated with symptoms such as acne, excessive hair growth, thinning hair and weight changes.
However, symptoms vary from person to person, meaning not everyone with PCOS experiences the condition in the same way.
Despite its name, having PCOS does not necessarily mean a woman has cysts on her ovaries.
The condition is diagnosed based on a combination of symptoms, medical history and, in some cases, blood tests or an ultrasound.
