Political strategist Pauline Njoroge has resigned from the Jubilee Party after 14 years, bringing to an end her long association with the political outfit led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, July 21, Njoroge announced her resignation as a member of the Jubilee Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), where she served as Deputy Organizing Secretary, as well as her membership in the party, with immediate effect.
She reflected on her political journey, recalling that she joined The National Alliance (TNA) in 2012 as Communications Manager before continuing with the party after its merger with the United Republican Party (URP) to form the Jubilee Party.

Njoroge described the past 14 years as transformational, saying the experience shaped her political thinking, strengthened her skills in strategic communications and gave her the opportunity to serve during one of Kenya’s most significant political periods.
She also paid tribute to former President Uhuru Kenyatta, describing him as a mentor, teacher and political father who entrusted her with leadership responsibilities and supported her personal and professional growth.
According to Njoroge, Kenyatta also exposed her to leadership and governance experiences both across Africa and internationally, broadening her understanding of public service.
She said she remains grateful for his guidance and will continue to seek his counsel even as she embarks on a new political chapter.
Njoroge revealed that she has been part of the Linda Mwananchi movement since February 2026, noting that her conviction in the movement’s ideals has continued to grow over the past several months.
She said she believes the movement offers a platform to advance the aspirations of a new generation by promoting good governance, constitutionalism, accountability, the rule of law and servant leadership.
The political strategist added that her decision also aligns with the broader WANTAM campaign, which she said seeks not only political transition but also national renewal founded on integrity, constitutionalism and people-centred leadership.
Njoroge said she was leaving the Jubilee Party with gratitude, lasting friendships and valuable lessons, while expressing respect for the leaders she worked with during her time in the party.
She concluded by saying she would now dedicate her energy to the Linda Mwananchi movement, which she described as a commitment to champion the interests of ordinary Kenyans, defend constitutionalism and human rights, and promote leadership rooted in service, accountability and respect for the dignity of every citizen.
