Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has celebrated a major family milestone after her son, Don, and his partner, Yvonne, held their traditional Ngurario marriage ceremony.
Sharing the news on Sunday, July 19, Waiguru expressed her happiness as the couple officially marked the important Kikuyu customary rite, describing the occasion as a joyful moment for both families.
The governor said she was delighted to witness the couple take the next step in their relationship, noting that their commitment to each other was a source of pride and gratitude.
