They are currently undergoing processing ahead of their arraignment in court.

The latest arrests come barely a day after detectives announced the arrest of three other suspects linked to the same incident.

Those arrested earlier were identified as Allan Masese Onyambu, Godfrey Bosire Mokaya and Stanley Okeyo.

The incident occurred along the Kisii–Keroka Road, where several vehicles travelling in a convoy were allegedly stoned and damaged by a group of individuals, prompting detectives to launch investigations and pursue those believed to have participated in the attack.

The DCI said the arrests are part of an ongoing operation aimed at identifying everyone involved in the violence.

Detectives added that investigations remain active and that efforts are continuing to trace additional suspects believed to have played a role in the incident.

While confirming the latest arrests, the investigative agency reiterated its commitment to ensuring that those responsible for acts of violence and destruction of property are brought to justice.

According to the DCI, individuals who engage in criminal acts that threaten public safety or disrupt public order will be pursued and prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The agency further indicated that detectives are continuing to gather evidence as part of the ongoing investigation, with authorities expected to present the suspects before court once the processing is complete.

The Kisii–Keroka Road incident has attracted public attention amid concerns over violence targeting motorists and political convoys, with authorities maintaining that investigations will continue until all those involved are identified and held accountable.
