Morara Kebaso Ditches Inject Party for Jubilee Party

Morara Kebaso has announced that he has joined the Jubilee Party ahead of the 2027 General Election, shelving his own Inject Party in favour of the former ruling party.

Speaking during an interview on Monday, June 29, Morara said the decision was influenced by the political landscape in the Gusii region, where he believes Jubilee enjoys overwhelming support.

According to him, backing Jubilee offers the best platform to connect with voters in Borabu and the wider Gusii region, arguing that introducing a different political party would make it harder to win public support.

Morara also confirmed that he will contest the Borabu Constituency parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election, expressing confidence that he will secure victory despite expectations of a competitive race.

He said his campaign will focus on ideas and his development agenda rather than vote-buying, maintaining that he is confident voters will judge candidates based on their performance and vision.

The announcement comes as Morara has intensified criticism of Borabu MP Patrick Osero, accusing the legislator of mismanaging the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NGCDF) and failing to deliver development projects in the constituency.
