CCTV Exposes Suspected Hired Goons Behind Dual-Wave Intrusion at All Saints Cathedral

CCTV footage has emerged capturing every moment, revealing how the suspected hired goons invaded the All Saints Cathedral Church and attacked a conference that was ongoing at the premises.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday morning in two separate waves, raising questions about public safety and the speed and effectiveness of police response.

According to the surveillance footage, which has since gone public, the first group arrived at around 9.39 am on motorbikes, before forcing their way into the church’s compound, with the cameras revealing their faces and the motorcycle plates they were using.

Moments later, police swiftly responded, pushing the goons away from the compound.

At around 9.44 am, they had been repelled outside Valley Road, and the church remained peaceful.

Reports indicate that a post-budget meeting by civil society groups was ongoing inside the church conference room, taking place a day after the treasury read the budget for the 2026/27 financial year.

As the gangs fled, the meeting continued to deliberate on the society’s views on the Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi’s budget proposals.

However, at around 10.11 am, the group the police had initially dispersed returned, this time abandoning their motorbikes and walking in.

CCTV cameras captured them walking onto the church premises before heading towards the conference area, where the meeting was underway.

They reportedly brought the meeting to an abrupt end by chanting and dispersing those who attended the forum.

The men were also captured robbing the attendees.

Additionally, outside the church compound, a gunshot was fired in what appeared to be an attempt to disperse the group and restore order.

Fortunately, the entire incident was captured by multiple CCTV cameras, providing investigators with clear images of the suspects.

One suspect has so far been arrested and taken to Kibra Police Station as investigations continue.
