University of Nairobi has declined claims that Geoffrey Mosira did not study in the University of Nairobi.
This was after claims from Babu Owino’s video which resurfaced that Geoffrey did not finish his degree due to misconduct and being expelled from the University.
The University said in a statement that Geoffrey Mosiria Omatoke was admitted to the University of Nairobi for a course leading to the award of a Bachelor of commerce degree with effect from 5th September 2011.

He successfully completed the course and was conferred a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) degree at Second Class Honors (Upper Division) at a congregation held at the University of Nairobi on 5th December 2014.
The University stated.
The University also stated that the student served as Secretary for Sports and Entertainment in the Students’ Organization of Nairobi University (SONU)
The university further said that based on the information records, Geoffrey Mosiria Omatoke did not appear before any disciplinary committee for violation of university rules and regulations.
There were no disciplinary actions or incidents recorded about Mosiria up to his graduation in 2014.
Mosiria is currently the chief officer Environment at the Nairobi County Government. He had written to the University of Nairobi saying that the videos resurfacing of Babu Owino could ruin his reputation and that of his company.
