Ciru Muriuki announces her return to social media after a long break to heal from her personal loss

Socialite and former TV & radio host, Angela Wanjiru Muriuki, who is popularly known as Ciru Muriuki, has finally announced her return to social media after a long break to heal from her personal loss.

Ciru Muriuki was engaged to the late Charles Ouda, who was involved in numerous Kenyan productions.

In a recent Instagram story, Ciru expressed her gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support and love during her difficult time.

“I had to take a small break from socials. As y’all know, this has been THE HARDEST year of my life. There’s been a lot of life stuff that I needed to sort out. Aki, thank you all for your DMs, for your support, and for your love. EHE, what did I miss?? ^^”

Tragically, Ciru’s fiancé,the late Charles Ouda, passed away shortly after they had gotten engaged. 

Ouda, known for his roles in projects like Makutano Junction, The First Grader, and Count It Out, was not only a gifted actor but also a distinguished film director and scriptwriter.

The late Charlse also starred in popular TV shows including The Know Zone, Changing Times (KTN), Higher Learning, Changes, Mali (NTV), Second Family, Crime and Justice (Showmax), and Salem (Maisha Magic).

Ciru Muriuki began her career at Homeboyz Radio in 2008, captivating late-night listeners. 

Over the years, she made significant contributions to Kiss 100 radio, Nation Media Group, Royal Media Services, and Mediamax Networks, showcasing her versatility and storytelling talents.

She also worked at the BBC from 2018 till 2022.
