Apostle James Maina Nganga, who is popularly known as “The Commander in Chief,” has called out women with Rasta hairstyles, urging them to stop attending his church services.

In one of his recent TikTok posts, Ng’ang’a expressed his anger over women coming to his services with Rasta hair, claiming that they are misleading young people.

He noted that anyone who approaches him with Rasta hair would be required to shave it, even stating that if they refuse, he would personally carry out the act.

“If you have Rasta, you must shave it before coming to where I am. If not, you won’t be allowed in. One Sunday, we will shave you. Women, you are the ones ruining this church, and your hair colour is like a microphone. You wear pants like Koinange.’’

The pastor further expressed concern about the rise of hypocrisy within his church, stating that physical appearances should reflect one’s deeds and behavior.

He condemned what he perceives as a lack of genuine love and morality in the daily lives of individuals who attend church.

“You may do things of the world, but with your mouth, you praise the Lord. But if you are a killer, a liar, a gossip, a thief, and lack the wisdom of God, your mind is focused on worldly things. You have no love or fellowship with the Holy Spirit. You are always talking about government matters.’’

The apostle also encouraged both the faithful and aspiring preachers to acknowledge the existence of God and the Holy Spirit while avoiding hypocrisy.

“There is God in heaven. Those who are saved, stay saved. To the upcoming preachers, preach about the kingdom of God, not about money. Money is temporary; you’ll eventually leave it behind.’’
