KQ Announces Return of Dubai Flights Starting May 14

Kenya Airways has announced the resumption of flights to and from Dubai starting Thursday, May 14. The airline confirmed the development in a statement released on Wednesday, May 13.

The national carrier said the route will reopen after a temporary suspension that had disrupted travel between the two destinations. 

The move is expected to provide relief to passengers and businesses relying on the route.

According to the airline, operations will begin with daily flights between Nairobi and Dubai. The carrier noted that the initial schedule is part of efforts to gradually restore normal operations on the route.

Kenya Airways further indicated that additional flight frequencies will be introduced progressively depending on passenger demand and operational requirements.

“We wish to inform our customers that flights to and from Dubai will resume on 14th May 2026. We will operate daily frequencies between Nairobi and Dubai, with additional frequencies to be introduced progressively in line with demand and operational requirements,” the statement read.

Kenya Airways also assured passengers that safety remains a top priority as flights resume between Nairobi and Dubai.

The airline said it is continuing to coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure operations remain safe and smooth for both passengers and crew.

“The safety of our guests and crew remains our top priority, and we continue to work closely with the relevant authorities to ensure safe and seamless operations,” the statement concluded.
