The county boss went on to appeal to residents, especially men to take an active role in protecting children and rejecting violence within their communities.
He emphasized the need for men to uphold responsibility and integrity, urging them to safeguard the dignity and future of young girls while firmly denouncing any form of abuse or harm.
Mujng’aro further called on the public to remain alert and report suspicious activities, warning that silence and inaction only enable criminal behavior.
The governor also pointed to the wider challenge of gender-based violence, stressing that the incident reflects a deeper societal problem that requires urgent and collective intervention.
Reaffirming the county’s zero-tolerance stance on such cases, he called on religious leaders, elders, and other stakeholders to work together in confronting and eliminating the vice.
