Media personality and Comedian Oga Obinna has officially announced movie commentator DJ Afro Amigos as the official commentator for the upcoming match between amateur boxer Majembe and Mbavu the Destroyer at the upcoming Vurugu Fight Night.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, April 2, 2026, Oga Obinna in excitement for the event, revealed that DJ Afro Amigos would be the official commentator, explaining that the decision came after numerous fan requested for the popular entertainer to join the fight night.
“Now, the official commentator for Majembe and Mbavu Destroyer fight is going to be the one and only… alright! Thank you, DJ Afro Amigos! Mariradi! Poseee alafu posee kabisaa!” Oga Obinna said before the DJ Afro.

DJ Afro is a popular Kenyan entertainment legend, famous for his hilarious, energetic, and movie-style Swahili commentary that has entertained millions for over a decade.
The Majembe vs Mbavu the Destroyer state has been trending heavily across Kenyan social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram, for weeks.
The rivalry between the two viral sensations has been fueled by heated press conferences, chaotic weigh-ins where security had to intervene, and personal taunts, including bold claims about post-fight intentions.
Apart from capturing public attention, the event has also captured the attention of President Ruto, who pledged Ksh 4 million in support through funds and sponsored tickets.
The fight is set to take place in April 4 at Kasarani Stadium.
