As part of this transition, she made it clear that she would no longer be going live on TikTok.
“My tap tap era is over guys .You won’t be seeing me going live anymore. My brand needs my attention. It was good while it lasted thanks to all my gifters who supported me during that period.’’
Previously, during her live sessions, Sheryl often engaged with fans by inviting them to gift her tokens, which she would later convert into current currency.
Originally TikTok was known for its dance challenges and lip-syncing to trending songs but now the app now offers features that allow TikTokers to engage in live gaming sessions with fans across the globe.
During these livestreams, fans can purchase TikTok coins to send virtual gifts to their favorite creators.
These gifts can later be converted into real-world currency, providing a viable monetization option for content creators.
