Jeremiah Kioni in Talks With Rigathi Gachagua Ahead of 2027

Jubilee Deputy Party Leader (Operations) Jeremiah Kioni on Friday, March 20, held a meeting with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. 

The meeting was also attended by former Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia.

Kioni described the discussions as candid and focused on urgent national matters affecting the country.

He said the meeting aimed to examine ways to strengthen leadership and address pressing issues facing citizens.

A key point of the engagement was the growing gap between leaders and the people.

Kioni highlighted the importance of responsive leadership to restore trust and ensure that governance meets the needs of the public.

He further noted that Kenya is at a critical juncture that demands decisive, people-centered leadership. 

The meeting explored strategies to promote stability, dignity, and economic growth across the nation.

“This morning accompanied by former Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia, held a candid engagement with Rigathi Gachagua, where our discussions centered on the pressing national issues facing our country and the urgent need to restore stability, dignity, and economic sanity. We exchanged views on the current state of the nation and the growing disconnect between leadership and the people. It is evident that our country stands at a critical crossroads, and decisive, people centered leadership is no longer optional, it is necessary,’’ Kioni noted.

According to Kioni, the meeting included discussions on fostering national cohesion and implementing reforms to tackle persistent systemic issues.

“Our conversation focused on building a united, inclusive, and pragmatic path toward rescuing our country from the failures of the current regime. This moment calls for courage, honesty, and a renewed commitment to the aspirations of our people,” he concluded.
