Eric Omondi Reaches Machakos in Ongoing Nairobi–Mombasa Challenge

Comedian and activist Eric Omondi has completed the first day of his 476-kilometre walk from Nairobi to Mombasa.

The Sisi kwa Sisi team founder has so far covered 68 kilometres after reaching Machakos County.

Upon arrival in Machakos, Eric Omondi appeared frail and exhausted, but was seen in a post shared being attended to by medics.

His legs were also seen being sprayed with medication to prevent swelling.

The activist began his journey from Nyayo Stadium where he received support from Media personality Jeff Koinange, Kabi was Jesus, Churchill among others.

Kabi was Jesus was seen praying for Eric Omondi as they walked whereas others supported him in sections of the walk.

Eric Omondi also live-streamed to inform the public of his progress.

The purpose for the walk is to raise funds for the Sisi Kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre, a facility that will include a warehouse, two ambulances, a clinic, and a free secondary school.
