The Supreme Court of Kenya has unveiled a WhatsApp chatbot service to allow members of the public and lawyers to access court information and services online.
In a notice on Monday, February 9, 2026, the court stated that the chatbot will provide practice directions and rules, details on court services, and access to Supreme Court decisions, among other functions.
The online service will be available every working day from 8.30 am to 10.30 am and also from 2 pm to 3.30 pm.
Additionally, court users can reach the registry through a dedicated mobile line, as well as the judiciary exchange and ICT support lines for technical assistance.
However, the Supreme Court clarified that physical services remain available at its central registry in Nairobi, located at the Supreme Court Building, Room 8.
Sub-registries will also be operational at the Kisumu Law Courts and the Court of Appeal Building in Mombasa.
