Murangá Pastor James Irungu alias Jimmy, has announced a new cancer awareness initiative.
This follows his recent 80-hour tree-hugging challenge, which he was unable to complete.
Taking to his social media account, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, the Pastor shared a poster inviting Kenyans to join his charity walk and help raise awareness about cancer.
According to Irungu, the campaign is organised under the Jimmy Irungu Cancer Foundation which will take the form of a charity walk scheduled for February 21, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.
Participants will be expected to gather at Mukuyu, from where the walk will commence and proceed to Ihura Stadium, where a grand awareness event will be held.
“Prepare yourself now. Jimmy Irungu Cancer Foundation Charity Walk, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 am. The walk will start at Mukuyu and end with grand awareness at Ihura Stadium,” Jimmy Irungu stated.
