Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) party leader Kalonzo Musyoka flew to Lagos, Nigeria, on the morning of December 31, to attend the Future Africa Leaders Awards ceremony.
According to his office, Kalonzo was invited by the event organisers, led by African Leaders Awards (AFLA) founder Chikki Ogbinogbo, to attend as an honoured guest.
The prestigious event is scheduled to take place at the Loveworld Nation Arena, Asese Base in Lagos.

The WPF communications team confirmed the travel and emphasised Kalonzo’s participation in the ceremony as a recognition of his leadership and contributions.
The Future Africa Leaders Awards celebrate young Africans who have demonstrated exceptional contributions across a range of sectors, highlighting innovation, excellence, and efforts that drive positive transformation on the continent.
The invitation extended to Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) party leader Kalonzo Musyoka reflects recognition of his distinguished leadership and the impact of his political and public service career.
In addition to his ongoing contributions, Kalonzo has recently been honoured with the London Political Summit and Awards (LPSA) 10th Anniversary Africa Political Leader and Personality of the Year Award, further underscoring his influence and commitment to leadership excellence.
The acknowledgement from the Future Africa Leaders Awards positions Kalonzo alongside other prominent African leaders who are celebrated for shaping policies, advancing development, and inspiring new generations to contribute meaningfully to Africa’s progress.
