Newlife Church founder Pastor Ezekiel Odero has explained why his children never attended expensive or prestigious schools abroad, despite his wealth.
Speaking during his Holy Communion event on Sunday, December 14, 2025, Ezekiel revealed that his decision to educate his children in Kenya, reflects his confidence in the institution’s academic standards and his belief in the importance of a strong educational foundation over luxurious facilities as well.
“Tomorrow, the principal and other school administrators will be available, so you can go and sit with the principal and ask about the facilities. My children also attend the Kilifi school; they are in different classes and years,” Pastor Ezekiel said.
“I decided that I don’t want to encourage people to bring their children to a school where I cannot have my own kids studying. My first primary school, New Life Primary School, is where my child completed Class 8, performed very well in the KCSE, and is now in university,” he added.
