President William Ruto on Friday, December 12, led the nation in a moment of silence in honour of the late Raila Odinga during the Jamhuri Day celebrations at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.
During his address, the President called on Kenyans to pause and reflect on the life and legacy of the former Prime Minister.

Raila Odinga passed away in October at the age of 80 after suffering a cardiac arrest during a morning walk at an Ayurvedic treatment facility in Kochi, India.
He was laid to rest on Sunday, October 19, at his ancestral home in Kang’o Ka Jaramogi, Bondo, Siaya County.
