Veteran comedienne Stella Bunei Koitie, popularly known as Jemutai, has officially declared that she will vying for the Elgeyo Marakwet Women Representative seat in the 2027 General Election.
Jemutai announced on her social media account Instagram on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
According to the post, Jemutai stated that she will vie under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party.
“I understand women better”, she stated.
The comedienne is aiming to unseat the current Women Representative, Ngelechei Caroline Jeptoo, who has been serving the county since 2022.
