According to NPS, the suspects are currently being processed and will be presented in court.
NPS said additional suspects will be arrested once investigations, including photographic and acoustic analyses, are completed.
The service urged members of the public who witnessed the disturbances or have relevant information to report to the nearest police station or contact law enforcement through toll-free numbers or the designated WhatsApp line.
The chaos at Kariobangi North PCEA Church on Sunday occurred during a thanksgiving service led by former DP Rigathi Gachagua and other opposition leaders for a newly elected ward representative.
The police reported that the unrest was triggered by clashes between two groups of youths attending the service.
The situation escalated, forcing officers to intervene, which briefly disrupted the service after teargas was deployed inside the church.
