Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma has been attacked by Kasipul during the ongoing by-elections.
According to reports, the Kaluma was attacked at the Agoro Sale polling station, where he was acting as an observer for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party.
According to the MP, his bodyguard, who was also attacked and injured, has also lost his firearm during the chaos.
Afterwards, the Medical Personnel rushed and administered first aid to Kaluma.
Speaking after the incident, the MP alleged that the attack could have been linked to an independent candidate in relation to the Kasipul seat.
