Embakasi East MP Babu Owino visited Her Excellency Mama Ida Odinga, the wife of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Siaya County.
During his visit, Babu Owino presented Mama Ida with a Holy Bible and offered bulls, as a form of cultural honour.
Not only did Babu Owino visit Idah at Opada farm but also Kang’o ka Jaramogi, the burial ground and legacy site of the late leader.
The Embakasi MP escribed the site as “rich in history, legacy, and honor,” underlying the symbolic nature of his visit beyond personal condolence.
The late Raila Odinga passed away on October 15, 2025.
According to reports, the former Prime Minister had suffered Cardia arrest while undergoing treatment in India.
