Winnie Odinga Denies ODM Rift, Warns Saboteurs

EALA MP Winnie Odinga has dismissed reports of divisions within the ODM party, cautioning those attempting to create instability within the movement.

Speaking on Friday, November 14, during the ODM@20 celebrations in Mombasa, she affirmed that the party remains strong and united despite speculation of internal rifts following the passing of her father, former ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

She reiterated that ODM’s commitment to its mission and supporters remains unshaken.

Winnie Odinga delivered a firm message to individuals she accused of double-dealing within the ODM party, cautioning that such actions would not shake the movement.

She emphasized that while some may appear supportive in public, their behaviour behind the scenes reveals divided loyalties.

Winnie made it clear that ODM’s direction will be shaped openly by its members not by hidden agendas or backroom schemes.

She reminded supporters of the party’s roots in struggle, resilience, and sacrifice, noting that many have worked tirelessly to uphold its mission.

Reflecting on ODM’s 20-year journey, Winnie said the vision that inspired its founding still burns strong and urged young people to carry that dream forward with unity and purpose.

She ended with a warning to those attempting to stir division, affirming that ODM remains focused and unshaken.

The Orange Democratic Movement is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a three-day event at Mama Ngina Waterfront in Mombasa, running from November 14 to 16.

This marks the party’s first major gathering since the passing of Raila Odinga on October 15, 2025.
