The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has given state and public officers two months to declare their income, assets, and liabilities.
In a notice issued on Thursday, November 13, the agency stated that all declarations must be completed by December 31, 2025, in line with the requirements of the Conflict of Interest Act, 2025, which took effect on August 19, 2025.
According to the EACC, all state and public officers are expected to submit their declarations through their respective responsible commissions.

The directive comes a month after Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku announced a crackdown on human resource officers implicated in tax evasion, corruption, and manipulation of employment records.
Speaking on Sunday, October 12, the Cabinet Secretary said the Ministry had uncovered alarming cases of human resource officers helping government employees evade taxes and stay on the payroll illegally.
He warned that those involved in the scheme would face firm disciplinary and legal action, stressing that the government will not tolerate corruption or protect any offender.
Ruku noted that the Ministry will work closely with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate the cases and ensure accountability.
He emphasized that the aim is to protect taxpayers’ money and make the public service a model of merit rather than a center for corruption.
Earlier, CS Ruku had also warned public servants against reporting late to work.
