Isiolo South Member of Parliament Mohamed Tubi Bidu has died following a short illness.
According to reports, the MP died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, evening while receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.
Tubi was serving his first term as an MP and sat in the Departmental Committee on Environment and Public Petitions Committee.
His death was confirmed by the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula described Tibu’s death as a profound loss to the nation.
“As we come to terms with this great loss, let us remember Tubi for his remarkable service and the positive impact he had on our nation,” Wetang’ula stated.
