The meeting is expected to focus on the party’s strategies and grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 General Election.

The meeting comes days after the Jubilee Party appointed Matiang’i as the Deputy Party Leader.

The former Cabinet Secretary was appointed to the new role during the Jubilee Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting chaired by retired President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday, October 30.

During the session, the party also endorsed him as its presidential candidate for the 2027 General Election.
