The former Prime Minister, who passed away on October 15, was a devoted supporter of Arsenal and often expressed his admiration for the team.

Following his death, AFTV,  a popular global platform for Arsenal supporters, joined Kenyans in mourning the former Prime Minister.

In its tribute, AFTV described Raila Odinga as more than a political icon, noting that he was part of the global Arsenal family and a true embodiment of the club’s spirit and unity.

The visit comes days after Royal Media Services Chairman SK Macharia travelled to Bondo to offer his condolences.

Macharia arrived in the morning at Raila Odinga’s Opoda farm, where he was welcomed by several leaders, including Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga.

He then proceeded to the late leader’s gravesite to pay his respects before joining Mama Ida Odinga at their home for a private meeting.

During the visit, Macharia reflected on his long-standing relationship with the Odinga family, which he said dates back to the era of Raila’s father, the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
