Thousands of Kenyans on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the evening lined up to view the body of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
The residents were allowed to view the body moments after it arrived at Odinga’s home at Opoda Farm in Bondo, Siaya County.
Raila’s body was flown by a helicopter, which touched down at his rural home with his casket draped in the Kenyan flag.
The body was first viewed by the Odinga’s family followed by Governor Gladys Wanga and her counterpart James Orengo.
Mourners who had arrived at the Opanda’s farm where the allowed to view his body only once.
The former Prime Minister will be buried tomorrow, September 19, 2025.
