A heated confrontation between Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale and Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi temporarily interrupted a Parliamentary Committee Health session on Tuesday, October 14, 2025..
During the exchange, the MP and the CS traded blame over the closure of two health facilities, with Duale accusing the MP of being linked to the said facilities that had been closed over fraud claims.
“I have closed your hospitals,” Duale shouted.
“I have no hospitals and I have never owned even a dispensary,” the MP responded.
CS Duale therefore went ahead and said that some MPs should not be ok the committee as some of them own hospitals.
