Kibera MP Peter Orero’s driver has been charged with breaking traffic laws in court on Monday , October 13, in the morning.
The driver faced charges at the Milimani Law Courts following a viral video by CNN respondent Larry Madowo.
In the viral video, the driver was heard telling Madowo to take his grievances to President William Ruto, at which he accepted the challenge.
The CNN respondent therefore promised him that once he acquired a flash drive he would forward the clip to President Ruto.
Madowo further claimed that he had no idea that the person in the viral video he had posted was Kibera MP, however, the public had been quick to identify him.
Appearing before the judge at the Milimani Law Courts, the driver was fined Ksh100,000 and released after confessing to obstructing traffic laws as he was rushing the MP to the airport.
