Popular Gengetone artist has been hospitalised in critical condition after reportedly being involved in a road accident along Thika Road on the morning of Sunday, October 5, 2025.
News of Shalkido’s accident was initially broken by media personality Oga Obinna, who was among the last people to see the artist before the incident.
According to preliminary reports, Shalkido was involved in an accident at around 4am, hours after he made a cameo performance at an entertainment joint in Thika.
The artist was rushed to a nearby health facility and is currently admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).
His vehicle was reportedly taken to an unnamed police station.
