An attempt to suspend Kitui Speaker Kevin Katisya led to the suspension of the motion sponsor from the house for 90 days.
Now, the MCA behind the motion, Matinyani MCA Sylvester Munyalo, was suspended from the house for 90 days.
The MCA had filed a notice accusing Katisya of abuse of office, conflict of interest and gross violation of the constitution last week.
Reports indicate that thirty-one MCAs appended their signatures to support the motion.
However, the motion took a different turn as on Wednesday, Speaker Katisya suspended him from the house, citing gross misconduct and suspended Munyalo alongside 10 other MCAs under Standing Order No 103A.
According to Katisya, their actions undermined the dignity of the assembly and disrupted its smooth running.
