News anchor Loise Wangui has announced her departure from Nation Media Group after working for ten years.
On Friday September 12, 2025, she presented her final edition of NTV Mashinani, bidding farewell to her colleagues and viewers.
Wangui, who had presented Mashinani for seven months, since February, said that she had enjoyed working on the show.
“The time has come for us to close, but today I am not just closing the bulletin. I am personally closing my journey at NTV Mashinani. Since February this year, it has been seven months of informing, educating, and entertaining you through NTV Mashinani,” Wangui said.
“We had the online Mashinani, Mashinani in towns and villages, and I believe you will soon know in whose hands it will remain. Today marks my very last day presenting NTV Mashinani because God has willed that I leave in peace, not in conflict,” She added.
The news anchor further thanked viewers for their loyalty and Nation Media Group for a chance to serve the media.
