Government pathologist Johansen Oduor has disclosed that city lawyer Kyalo Mbobu was shot eight times on Tuesday evening.
Speaking after conducting an autopsy on the body, Oduor explained that the shooter was at close range during the incident.
According to the pathologist, Kyalo died as a result of severe injuries and over-bleeding from the gunshot wounds sustained during the shooting.

The family of the late lawyer issued their first public statement on Thursday, September 11, urging the government and investigative agencies to fast-track inquiries and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
In a heartfelt plea, Mbobu’s mother spoke of her son’s character and appealed directly for government action.
The victim’s younger brother, who is also a lawyer, revealed how he learned of the tragedy.
He further made a broader appeal for public safety, emphasizing the need for citizens to feel secure in their daily activities.
The late lawyer Kyalo Mbobu was fatally shot on Tuesday evening along Magadi Road, Karen, when a gunman on a motorcycle opened fire at his stationary car.
Witnesses said the attackers broke his windshield before firing several bullets.
