Traffic was temporarily disrupted along Thika Superhighway after a bus attached to the Super Metro Sacco was set ablaze along the busy highway.
According to images seen by whispers wire, the bus was completely engulfed in flames as a crowd watched in anticipation on the afternoon of Monday, September 1.
Initial reports suggest that after the bus allegedly killed a boda boda rider by knocking him down, angry operators descended upon it.
The bus was burnt beyond reasonable repair, but there were no reports of any further injuries from the incident.
It therefore remains unclear whether there were passengers aboard the bus at the time of the incident.
