Narok County have ordered the indefinite closure of Narok Adventist Primary and Junior Secondary School following a tragic incident in which a Grade Nine student was found murdered within the school compound.
The 14-year-old was discovered dead over the weekend at night in the students’ dormitory with visible signs of struggle and visible injuries.
According to reports, there was blood on the ground at the scene where the body was found, and some traces were also found in a washroom.
It is unclear what happened to the student, with police launching investigations into the matter.
The body of the student has been taken to Narok County Referral Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
