President Ruto Holds Consultative Meeting With Meru Leaders

President Ruto on August 29, hosted grassroots leaders from Meru County at State House, Nairobi.

The leaders were led by Meru Governor Isaac Mutuma, with DP Kithure Kindiki also present during the meeting.

In his remarks after the meeting, the Head of State emphasized the need for unity and collective effort in driving national progress.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, outlining its role in stabilizing the economy and driving inclusive development.

Ruto moreover noted that the meeting provided a platform to deliberate on pressing development issues in Meru County, including infrastructure, markets, and urban transformation.

This meeting comes days after Ruto hosted grassroots leaders from Kiambu County at State House, Nairobi.

The meeting was also attended by DP Kithure Kindiki.

He was alongside other senior political leaders from the region including National Assembly Majority Leader and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah, Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a, Kiambu Woman Representative Anne Wamuratha, Kiambaa MP Njuguna Kawanjiku among others.
