Wamalwa Refutes Reports of Fallout with Rigathi Gachagua

DAP-K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa has denied claims of a fallout with Rigathi Gachagua, terming the reports as fake news.

An image circulating online alleged that Wamalwa and former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi had disagreed with Gachagua over the positioning of political parties and candidates.

However, in a statement, Wamalwa refuted the claims, stating that the reports were fabricated and meant to cause unnecessary tension.

“No amount of fake news will shake the unity, resolve, and focus of Team #Wantam to beat Team #Tutam both in the coming by-elections and General elections! The die is cast,” he noted.

The clarification comes weeks after Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka also dismissed a letter circulating on social media purporting to show his appointment as part of an African Union shuttle diplomacy mission.

The letter, allegedly from the Office of the President of Kenya and addressed to the African Union Commission, claims Kalonzo was selected by President Ruto to represent Kenya in a diplomatic engagement related to the upcoming elections in Côte d’Ivoire.

However, in a statement on August 7, the Wiper leader noted that the document was fake, insisting that he will never work with the Kenya Kwanza administration.
