President Ruto has conferred Prince Rahim Aga Khan V with the Chief of the Golden Heart (C.G.H) award for the exemplary work done by the Aga Khan Network in Kenya.
Prince Rahim was given the CGH award during an event at State House, Nairobi.
Princess Zahra Aga Khan was also awarded as a member of the AKDN Board of Directors, with the Order of the Golden Heart (EGH) award.

While speaking after receiving the award, Prince Rahim Aga Khan V expressed his gratitude to President Ruto for bestowing upon him the C.G.H honour.
The C.G.H. is the most prestigious award in Kenya and is given to sitting heads of state or exceptional global leaders.
Prince Rahim Aga Khan V arrived in Kenya on Monday, August 26, and was received by Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi.
He is expected to hold bilateral discussions with President Ruto on deepening cooperation between the Government of Kenya and the Ismaili Imamat.
After the bilateral discussions, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is expected to be signed between the Government of Kenya and the Ismaili Imamat.
