Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has recently called for swift justice following the brutal murder of Susan Nabwire.
Susan Nabwire was allegedly killed by her husband in their Kware home on August 13th.
Taking to the social media, Passaris noted that the tragic incident, which occurred in front of Nabwire’s one-year-old child and house help, represents another devastating case in Kenya’s escalating femicide crisis.

She went on to address the suspect directly, writing;
“Cyprian, you didn’t just kill your wife; you killed the mother of your child. That little one now has no mother. And no father.”
Passaris moreover emphasized the devastating impact on the orphaned infant, who is now in the care of grieving relatives after witnessing the horrific attack that unfolded in their Pipeline home.
The fatal incident is said to have started as a domestic quarrel when 44-year-old Cyprian Magohe returned home in an agitated mood, demanding his wife’s phone passwords and M-Pesa PIN while accusing her of infidelity.
The situation later escalated and Magohe allegedly retrieved an axe from the bathroom, tied a rope around Susan’s neck and stabbed her in the eye before pushing her lifeless body under the bed.
The suspect is also accused of sexually assaulting the house help.
He is currently in custody at Embakasi Police Station awaiting arraignment.
