The Health CS Aden Duale has pushed for the compensation of victims of criminal and terror activities in the North Eastern regions.
Speaking while in Balambala in Garissa, Duale claimed that the government should also compensate those who lost their lives in Wagalla and Malka Mari, especially during the previous administration.

“So many people died during the previous administration, and let me make it clear that if there is compensation, the people who died in the North-Eastern region during the previous administration must be compensated,” Duale said.

According to the CS, the areas will continue rallying behind the president because he has consistently demonstrated support for them.
While responding to Duale’s statements, former President Ruto’s senior Economic Advisor, Moses Kuria, warned the CS and other leaders of negatively profiling the Mount Kenya region, a move that he warns might revert the country to divisive politics.
