Actress Lupita has been featured on Time Square and she can not be able to be calm.
She has also launched her own podcast that will give Africans a chance to express themselves.
Renowned actress Lupita Nyong’o is over the moon after she got featured in Times Square.
Taking to her Instagram account, the actress who is also an author, a model and a content creator disclosed the news to her fans while celebrating her achievement which is the launch of her podcast alongside her friend.
As she and her friend awaited for the post to come up on New York’s street screens the videographer asked Lupita if she was ready for the moment to which she nervously revealed nothing could have prepared her any more for the moment.
“You know what? I… I am not.’’
The actress also added that she did have a dream of launching her podcast for years and telling stories close to her heart as well as giving other Africans a space to express themselves.
“I don’t think I would have ever imagined this. Having a billboard on Times Square on a project I dreamed of…’’
Reflecting the moment and how precious it was, her joy and laughter turned into tears of joy, pride and self accomplishment.
