Comedian Kafengo Lands a Role at Dennis Itumbi’s Office

Government’s Head of Creative Economy and Special Projects, Dennis Itumbi has extended a job opportunity to renowned comedian Kafengo.

In a statement on July 29, Itumbi disclosed that the comedian , along with his videographer, will join his office team as they work to build new digital platforms.

“Kafengo and Mike, his videographer, will join forces with us to build new platforms in the office and share my salary for now, and will still be free to run their own independent content creation hustle,” he noted.

Itumbi moreover praised Kafengo’s academic background, revealing that he holds a degree in Mathematics with Computing.

“Did you know he holds a degree in Mathematics with Computing? Watch out for that algebra level precision as he helps mobilize, empower, and solve real issues in the content creation space,” he added.

Commenting after the job offer, Kafengo expressed gratitude for the support he has been receiving in recent times.

“What I love is comedy, what I enjoy doing is making people laugh and creating happiness. The support I have been getting is unexplainable and I say thank you.”

Kafengo was promised a job during the funeral of comedian Zakaria Kariuki, popularly known as KK Mwenyewe, who was Kafengo’s close friend.
