Ruto Reinstates Charles Nyachae to Lead Kenya School of Government Board

President William Ruto has reappointed former judge of the East African Court, Justice Charles Nyachae as the Chairperson of the Kenya School of Government.

Through a gazette notice published on Friday, July 12, he will continue serving in the office effective immediately.

“In the exercise of powers conferred by section 6(1)(a) of the Kenya School of Government Act, I, William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, re-appoint Charles Nyachae to be the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya School of Government Council, for three (3) year”, the notice read.

Nyachae had been shortlisted for the position of the IEBC Chairperson but was unfortunately not selected as Erastus Ethekon was appointed.

In the same gazette notice, Abdi Mude Ibrahim was also appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at the Kenya Veterinary Vaccines Production Institute for a three-year term.
