Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has disclosed plans to file a case against President Ruto at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Speaking to Kenyans in Seattle, the former DP alleged that the killings taking place in Kenya are crimes that should be taken to the ICC.
“I want to confirm that I have put up a team that is documenting all the atrocities, the killings, displacements, disappearances and abductions taking place in Kenya. We have a team that is putting evidence to take William Ruto to the ICC at the Hague”, Gachagua noted.

According to Gachagua, Ruto’s ICC file over the 2007 post-election violence was not concluded but merely put on hold.
The former DP now intends to add the new case to it.
According to him, the current state of insecurity is forcing Kenyans to live in fear in their own country.
He further revealed that the case was only suspended because witnesses had disappeared.
However, his team is ensuring that everything is in place to ensure Ruto faces the consequences.
