“Accompanied by my beloved spouse, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, I arrived at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington to kick off my diaspora engagement with Kenyans in the USA and the international community on issues affecting our beloved country. I was warmly welcomed by jubilant Kenyans here, and I am truly excited. The love and support are unmatched,” said Gachagua.
Gachagua jetted out of the country on the night of Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
He was seen off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by his allies, including John Methu, Jane Njeri Maina, and Cleophas Malala.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, the former DP had announced that he would engage Kenyan diaspora communities and members of the international community on the state of the nation.
Gachagua is scheduled to visit Dallas, California, Seattle, Boston, and Baltimore, where he will hold town hall meetings and attend social gatherings.
