Police officers in Ndiwa, Homa Bay County, have nabbed a couple of severe child abuse of their seven-year-old son for an alleged missing fish.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred in Ramoya village, Kajwang’ Sub-Location.
According to reports, the minor, a grade three pupil, is said to have suffered severe burns on his hand after his parents allegedly punished him for using molten plastic.

The couple were taken into custody on Monday evening following reports from concerned residents.
Upon further investigations, it was revealed that the boy’s father had earlier compelled the child to consume the entire fish he was accused of stealing before the mother came up with the brutal punishment.
According to local authorities, the suspects are being held at Ndhiwa Police Station.
The couple face joint charges related to the assault.
