Former CS Justin Muturi has demanded President Ruto’s immediate resignation.
Speaking on Thursday, May 15, 2025, during an interview on Spice FM, Muturi stated that the President was unfit to hold office.
According to him, most Kenyans are tired of the Head of State’s style of governance since he has failed to deliver on the promise he made.
“I would advise William Ruto to do the honourable thing, please, Mr President, resign, you are unfit to be in that office, you have become an incorrigible liar”, the former CS stated.
‘Kenyans know it, from all walks of life. It is very hurtful for citizens to see their president telling lies in broad daylight. It is annoying and I hope he listens”, he added.
He also faulted the President’s allies for misleading him on the real situation in the country.
“Unfortunately, he has decided to surround himself with praise singers, so I don’t think he hears”
The former CS further urged parliamentarians to invoke powers under Article 145 and initiate impeachment proceedings against the President over the abduction of Kenyans.
According to him, the Head of the Republic had already admitted to having orchestrated the abduction of youthful Kenyans, and his testimony was enough evidence to initiate his impeachment.
